Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, a non-sectarian health and social service agency, will be hosting an “Alzheimer’s 101” Program, through Alzheimer’s New Jersey, on Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 Mountain Ave., Westfield, NJ, from 10 a.m. t o 11 a.m..
This program provides a comprehensive overview for anyone who wants to learn about memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other forms of dementia. Alzheimer’s NJ provides programs to communities throughout New Jersey, that increase awareness and access to services for those living with or caring for an individual with a dementia diagnosis.
The regular support group will continue from 11 a.m. to 12 pm. The program is free and open to Alzheimer’s/Dementia caregivers in the community and is run in accordance with the Alzheimer’s New Jersey guidelines. Participants are welcome to join the group at any time.
