Free Alzheimer’s/Dementia Support Group Takes Place February 3 in Elizabeth

ELIZABETH, NJ - Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregiver Support Group will meet Friday, February 3, at 1:00p.m., at Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, a non-sectarian health and social service agency. The group is free and open to Alzheimer’s/Dementia caregivers in the community and is run in accordance with the Alzheimer’s NJ guidelines.  Participants are welcome to join the group at any time.  The group will take place at the JFS Office, 655 Westfield Avenue, Elizabeth.

In addition to the support group, JFS offers a specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Family Care Program, which is funded by grants from the Elizabethtown Healthcare Foundation and Wells Fargo Foundation. Registration is recommended. To attend for more information about the new programs for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Disorders, interested parties should contact Alice Greenberg-Sheedy,, 908-352-8375.
