Free Presentation at Lavy House July 19: Managing Chronic Illness

A free informational program on “Managing Chronic Illness” will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 11:30 a.m. at The Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House, 748 E. Broad Street, Westfield, NJ.  The presentation by Karen Giordnella, RN, Coordinator for the JFS Caregivers At Home Program, is part of a series of programs that are free and open to the entire community at The Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House.  A light lunch will be served.

The Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House is a joint venture between The Westfield United Fund and Temple Emanu-El of Westfield.  Through a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ provides programming and the services of Social Worker Naomi Kreutzer, LCSW, each Tuesday.  Programs are free of charge and open to the entire community.  The Lavy House is open Tuesdays, 9-5.
