CRANFORD, NJ – Cranford's varsity hockey team improved to 7-4 Wednesday with a commanding 13-0 victory over Oratory Prep at Warinanco Park.

The Cougars led from the start and spent most of the game in the offensive zone. They were up, 4-0, after the first period and extended the lead to 13-0 after two periods of play.

Cranford had nine different players who contributed to the goal total, including a hat trick by Liam Lysaght. Mark Koelmann and Ryan Malko each found the back of the net twice. Mark Christiano, Dan Allen, Nick Colucci, Mark Pawlick, Sprencer Reiber and Ryan Shupp all added one goal.

Goaltending duties were split by Robert Echevarria and Thomas Harris, each of whom had two saves.

Cranford is back in action on Friday when the Cougars travel to South Brunswick.
