Lance to Host 47th Town Hall; Constituents, Questions Invited

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ -- New Jersey Rep. Leonard Lance (R-7th) will host his 47th in-person town hall meeting on Friday, April 27 beginning at 5:30 pm at Phillipsburg High School.

During the town hall meeting, Lance will take questions on the important issues facing Congress and the American people.  Lance will discuss his leadership role on the Gateway Tunnel and sanctions against Russia, government funding, national security and Syria, the Mueller investigation, gun and school safety and other issues.   

Additionally, members of Lance’s staff will be available to assist residents who are experiencing difficulties with federal agencies such as the IRS, Social Security Administration, Veterans Affairs, the State Department or any other federal agency.

Phillipsburg High School is located at 1 Stateliner Blvd.

This is a free, ticketed event open to residents of New Jersey's 7th Congressional District, which includes Somerville and Hillsborough and other central New Jersey communities. Tickets are required for all attendees and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis online through Lance’s website at lance.house.gov beginning Wednesday, April 25 at 12 noon.  Two ticket limit per online entry.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors today approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.
