CRANFORD, NJ- Niche, an online ranking system for towns, cities, schools and more has ranked Cranford as No. 65 on its 2018 “Safest School Districts in New Jersey” list.

The ranking is based on student ratings of health and safety, area crime rates, and rates for expulsion, suspension, and school related arrests, according to the website.

The Cranford Public School district has an “A” for health and safety and an “A” grade overall. The district is also ranked as No. 40 for the best school districts in the state.
