CRANFORD, NJ - Cranford Police distributed the following update via Nixle:
As the North Avenue Pedestrian Project progresses, the Township’s contractor has moved forward into the next phase of the project. This portion of the project entails road and utility work along the main entrance of Warner Plaza. As a result, the two entrances to the train station off of North Avenue have been closed to protect the site.
However, motor vehicle access still remains available to Municipal Lot # 3, directly behind Cervantes of Spain, at this time. All motor vehicles may utilize the new municipal parking lot entrance on North Avenue, just east of the train station and located between Cervantes of Spain and Chapman Brothers Plumbing, to gain access to the parking lot. The contractor will add signage to the area to assist the public with locating the lot. This access will remain open for the duration of the project. Thank you for your cooperation as we move forward with the project. Any questions related to parking can be directed to the Cranford Police Traffic Bureau at (908) 709-7335 or (908) 709-7336.
