Public is invited to help make sandwiches July 15 at Cranford United Methodist Church

Samaritan Sandwich Making Event at Cranford United Methodist Church on Sunday, July 15th
 
Join us as we help feed families in need. We are making sandwiches for St. Joseph's Social Services Center in Elizabeth. We’ll be gathering at 11:30 am on Sunday, July 15 in the Education Building of the Cranford United Methodist Church.
 
Join us and bring your children and grandchildren. We will have some bread, cold cuts and sandwich baggies available, but please fell free to bring some as well. Some suggestions for sandwiches: ham and cheese, turkey, chicken, roast beef, peanut butter and jelly, etc.  
 
Girl Scouts, Brownies, Boy Scouts and Cubs, Christian Connection families -- all are welcome! Many hands make light work as we share our blessings with others.
 
 
Can’t make it that day? Send us your email address and we’ll let you know about our next event on Sept. 16th.

Rutgers Hikes Tuition, Student Fees for 2018-2019 Academic Year

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors today approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The increase now brings the annual cost for undergraduate students to $14,975, which is $337 more than this past school year.
