CRANFORD, NJ - The 13th Annual Feast of St. Michael was held this weekend from Thursday through Sunday.

This year's feast featured five musical acts: The Fineline, Brother John Brown Band, Goldenseal, Andrew Lobby and The Alden Street Band. Additonal entertainment included dance performances from Fusion Dance and Beyond Dance and a demonstration from the Satori Academy of Martial Arts.

“The main reason we host the feast is to give the parishioners of St. Michael's and our friends and neighbors an opportunity to spend a fun filled weekend together as a community,” event co-chair Tom Turner said. “The weather looks terrific and we’re really excited about this season. We look forward to seeing all of our neighbors come to spend time celebrating us this weekend as part of the Cranford community."

The annual Cranford tradition raises funds for the parish and the community. Click through the photos above to view TAPinto Cranford's slideshow from the weekend!

In fact, on Wednesday, September 29, 1976, the local newspaper ran an article with a photo showing my mother and her protest placard. The memory of ...
