Softball: Kenilworth Out-Hits Cranford 7-3 in Home Game

KENILWORTH, NJ- David Brearley out-hit Cranford 7-3 in Tuesday’s softball game at Brearley.

Senior Sydney David and sophomore Nikki Smith led Brearley in runs, scoring two each. David had two hits with one RBI.

Junior Olivia Cristello had three hits with two RBI’s. Michelle Capizzano, Bree Manresa and Shanya Rabec all claimed one run, with Rabec claiming an RBI.

For Cranford, Liz Casazza, Tessa Ferentinos and Christina Ilkow each scored a run. Junior Taylor Reitzel had one RBI for the team.

Brearley currently stands 3-1 overall, 2-1 in league. Cranford is 5-3 overall, 3-1 in league.

Brearley’s will face Roselle Park on Saturday at 10 a.m. in a home game. Cranford will face Kearney on Friday at 4 p.m. on their home field.
