ROSELLE, NJ - The search continues for the owners of a female boxer found on East 7th Ave. near Chandler Ave. and given to Roselle police on Feb. 16. The dog was transported to the Newark Humane Society and was put on hold for the owner to claim.

The hold time has expired and the dog has not been claimed. She was transferred to the Montclair Animal Shelter and will be fostered in the hopes that her owner can still be found.

We have been told Liz Morgan, the shelters Director who has been doing boxer rescues for 28 years, that the dog is very sweet and friendly. Morgan says she feels that someone has to be looking for her. She also said the dog is of senior age and does have a medical issue of a large mammary tumor that will be removed at the same time as the dog is being spayed. If the owner isn’t found soon, she will then be put up for adoption.

If you are the owner or know the owner, contact Morgan at 973-744-8600. If you would like to make a donation towards the care of this boxer or any of the other animals you can do so at the Friends of the Montclair Animal Shelter by clicking here. http://www.fomtasnj.org/

More Traffic, No Solution – Letter to Governor Phil Murphy

July 17, 2018

Dear Governor Phil Murphy,

In fact, on Wednesday, September 29, 1976, the local newspaper ran an article with a photo showing my mother and her protest placard. The memory of ...
