CRANFORD – The Office of Continuing Education at Union County College has posted the summer 2015 brochure online. Registration is now open. Classes are offered for adults, as well as youth ages 11-18, and programs run from early June through August. Courses offered include non-credit classes for professional development, career enhancement, leisure and personal enrichment, English as a Second Language (ESL), and courses in Spanish.

Professional development classes for summer include Strategy in the 21st Century Corporation, Become a Game Changer, Introduction to Lean Six Sigma, Spanish for Healthcare Providers, Microsoft Office Suite 2013 programs and CompTIA Network+ Certification.

New enrichment classes include Digital Photography for Beginners, Surviving the Job Search in the 21st Century, Medicare: the Basics for Boomer’s, and Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care. New this summer are the popular Appliance Repair Basics and Electronics Technician programs delivered in Spanish!

Youth programs begin the week of June 29 and feature creative and innovative summer enrichment workshops for both boys and girls. New courses being offered include Battle-Bot-Build-A-thon, Lego Architecture, Guitar, Cartooning, Minecraft Designers, Duct Tape Divas, Girls Rule! And Teaching 101.
