SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ - The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Boys Varsity Tennis team notched its 2nd win of the season by sweeping Cranford 5-0 at La Grande Park.
Brandon Glickstein, a junior and team co-captain, won a hard fought battle at 1st singles, defeating Nate Halek, 6-3, 4-6, 10-8, in a match that lasted nearly 2 hours.
Senior co-captain Ewan Jones, breezed past Miller Schullman, 6-3, 6-0 in their 2nd singles contest, while freshman Brett Strug, cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Adam Crzyrsnic.
