UNION COUNTY, NJ - On Saturday, June 13, community members, business leaders, and Arc friends and family and came together to support the 63 year-old non-profit organization at Liberty Hall Museum, Kean University, in Union.
The annual Wine & Cheese Tasting brought more than 125 guests from Union County and beyond. As guests mingled they enjoyed 14 types of wine, and beer generously provided by Climax Brewing and Beach Haus Brewery. In addition, and new to the event this year, Jersey Artisan Distilling stole the show with a summer rum punch.
The Arc of Union County thanks its Presenting Sponsor, WithumSmith+Brown, PC, for their support of the event.
“Without the backing of the business community, foundations, and individuals, the Arc of Union County would not be able to provide its high quality and renowned programs and services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities,” said Frank X. Caragher, Executive Director of the Arc of Union County.
The Arc will host its 10th Annual Step Up for the Arc 5k and 1 mile walk in Oak Ridge Park, Clark, NJ, on October 10, 2015. Registration is now open at www.stepupforthearcunioncounty.com.
