Why: To raise money for The Arc’s programs, including a new music therapy initiative, following successful implementation of a fitness center and soon-to-open library and digital arts programming. The Arc of Union County serves more than 1,000 adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The Arc of Union County was founded in 1949 by parents of children with disabilities. Today The Arc serves the community through The Arc Kohler School of Mountainside, Early Intervention, Camp Star, Residential Services, Employment services, and Adult Day programming.
