The Max Challenge, Cranford hosted a series of classes, “Fit For the Cause” for the 2nd Annual MAX Challenge Day of Giving.
The MAX Challenge of Cranford along with fellow franchisee owners, managers, instructors, and 20,000 plus MAX Challenge members took part in the 2nd Annual MAX Challenge Day of Giving Charity event on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017. The MAX of Cranford raised $4,000 for Special Olympics, Cranford Young Athletes program at their event.
The MAX Challenge Day of Giving is designed to bring each center, their members, and the community together to raise awareness, support, and funds for each local charity selected. Special Olympics Young Athletes is a sport and play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities (ID), ages 2 to 7 years old. Young Athletes introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing. Young Athletes offers families, teachers, caregivers and people from the community the chance to share the joy of sports with all children.
Mario G. Cesario and Wendy Castro, Owners of The Max of Cranford were proud to host an event that gives back to the children. “In the spirit of the Max Challenge, giving back is an integral part of our culture. It was so great to see our members rally together for this great cause. We would like to thank everyone that made this event possible, especially our guest instructors, Lockey Maisonneuve (Yoga), Fitness by Joannie G (Zumba) and Spinners Entertainment and the local businesses that donated to the tricky tray.
Proceeds from this event will be used for training, uniforms and equipment for the Cranford Young Athletes program and The MAX Challenge is extremely proud to have hosted such a special event.
