As a fiscal conservative, the tax and spend policies of this President have been disappointing to say the least.  For eight years and eight different budgets the President has not put forth a plan that balances and returns our nation’s books to fiscal sanity. Not in 2009, or in 2010, or in 2011, or in 2012, or in 2013, or in 2014, or in 2015, or in 2016.

The national debt has almost doubled during this Administration—from $10.6 trillion in January 2009 to $19.4 trillion in August 2016.

We need people in Washington that are serious about getting our fiscal house in order.  Our Congressman, Leonard Lance, opposed every one of the President’s budgets.  He also opposed the President’s ObamaCare plan that is costing taxpayers and consumers millions and he voted to cut spending levels dramatically.  He even introduced his own balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

If only we had a President who would sign at least some of these measures into law.  No matter how the Presidential election turns out, we need a Congress committed to controlling our national debt that includes people like Leonard Lance.
