CRANFORD – Union County College President Margaret M. McMenamin was re-elected to serve a second three-year term as a Presidential Representative of the Northeast District for the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association. The election was held during the NJCAA’s Annual Conference, which took place during the week of March 24 in Tucson, Arizona.
President McMenamin had been initially elected in 2012. As a Presidential Representative, she votes on rules and regulations for an organization.
Founded in 1938, the NJCAA has 525 schools in 24 regions throughout the United States. NJCAA headquarters are in Colorado Springs, CO. Union County College is part of Region XIX and has 14 athletic teams.
