EDISON, NJ -- Middle School students from The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison attended a Chess Tournament on Saturday, April 13 at St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen. There were two sections of competition: Novice and Open for USCF (United States Chess Federation) members. 

W+H students participating were Vineeth Reddy of Edison, Nathaniel Bravo of Plainfield, Jasteij Sappal of Edison, Aryan Janardhana of Edison and Jack Silver of Rahway. 

Jack Silver took first place in the USCF Division and Aryan Janardhana obtained the second place in the Novice Division to lead W+H to first place as a team.
