Bike to BBQ

Kittatiny State Park in Newton is hosting an event to encourage families to get outdoors and ride their bicycles together. Travel the park’s 14-mile loop while learning about the area’s unique railroad history. The bike ride will have you hungry for the delicious barbecue food served at the conclusion of the event. Pre-registration is required.

Live Music at Beneduce Vineyards

If you love wine and good music, you must make it a point to visit Beneduce Vineyards over the summer. Saturday’s concert will start at 6 pm while Sunday’s show begins at 2 pm. Food trucks are usually available to serve food out on the patio, but guests are permitted to bring outside food (no outside alcohol allowed). Seating is first come, first serve, but you can call ahead to reserve a seat for a $10 fee.

Somerville Cruise Night

Go downtown in Somerville on Friday night to attend the district’s showcase of classic and collectible cars. Thousands flock the streets as they not only check out the vehicles, but also shop and dine outdoors. If you can’t make the event this weekend, no worries—cruise nights are held through Labor Day.
