Westfield Area Y Flyer Crowned National Champion, Four Named All-Americans

Six athletes from the Westfield Area Y Flyers Track Club were among the more than 1,000 athletes who competed at the USATF Hershey Indoor Championships held March 10-12, 2017 at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island. 

Grace Endy was crowned National Champion and named an All-American in the 3000 meter Race Walk, Girls 13-14 division.  Melissa Endy was fourth in the 3000m Race Walk, Girls 17-18 division and was named an All-American.   Alexandra Bonn was the bronze medalist in long jump, silver medalist in the 55m hurdles and finished fourth in the High Jump and was named All-American for all three events, Girls 11-12 division. Damian Scouloukas competed in hurdles and was named All-American for his 5th place finish in the Long Jump and sixth place finish in the High Jump, Boys 11-12 division.  Caroline Collins finished 9th in the 3000m run and 12th in the 1500m run, Girls 15-16 age division.  Mychaela Fields competed in the 55m sprint, Girls 9-10 division.
