WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Area YMCA is bringing back free Wellness Wednesdays this summer at its main facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield. Members of the community are invited to enjoy the Y’s land and water group exercise classes, swim assessments, open gym, open swim and racquetball times as well as the fitness facilities free of charge on every Wednesday from July 19 through Aug. 9.

“The Y offers Wellness Wednesdays as a way for individuals and families in the community to personally experience the facilities and taking part in classes,” said Greg Hatzisavvas, Westfield Area YMCA senior director, member and wellness engagement. “We believe healthy living is more than fitness or exercise.  It is part of the bigger picture of overall wellness in spirit, mind and body.”
