Arrested: Manuel Ramos, 20, Newark

Arrested by: Ptl. Thomas Bell

Charges: Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2005 Nissan was stopped on North Avenue East near the intersection of the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Bell arrested the driver, Manuel Ramos, for suspected marijuana located inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. Additionally, the driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation, maintenance of lamps, suspended driver and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Centennial Avenue and Cayuga Road

Arrested: Tesean Rease, 23, Linden

Arrested by: Ptl. Jason D’Agostino

Charges: Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2012 Nissan was stopped at the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Cayuga Road for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Jason D’Agostino arrested the driver, Tesean Rease, for suspected marijuana located inside the vehicle. He was processed and released pending a Superior Court appearance date. Additionally, he was issued summonses for a seatbelt violation, suspended driver, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Springfield Avenue and Holly Street

Arrested: Monique Beaubien, 27, East Orange

Arrested by: Det. Michael Dubitsky

Charges: Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs; Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2002 Ford was stopped at the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Holly Street for use of a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle. Following an investigation at the scene, Det. Dubitsky arrested the driver, Monique Beaubien, for possession of prescription legend drugs. She was processed and released pending a Municipal Court appearance date. Additionally, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, use of a cell phone by an operator of a moving vehicle, and no valid insurance card in her possession.

Centennial Avenue and the Garden State Parkway 136 Exchange

Arrested: Courtney Law, 28, Piscataway

Arrested by: Ptl. Michael O’Neil

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)

Remarks: A 2013 Honda was stopped on Centennial Avenue near the Garden State Parkway 136 Exchange for failure to stop for a red traffic control device. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. O’Neil arrested the driver, Courtney Law, for driving while intoxicated. She was processed and released to a responsible adult pending a Municipal Court appearance date. Additionally, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to submit to breath samples, failure to observe a red traffic control device, and careless driving.

North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange

Arrested: Khalid Shakoor, 19, Newark

Arrested by: Ptl. Robert Jordan

Charges: Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2001 Nissan was stopped at the intersection of North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Jordan arrested a passenger, Khalid Shakoor, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle. He was processed and released with a pending Municipal Court appearance date. Additionally, the driver was issued summonses for being unlicensed and not wearing his seatbelt.

Arrested: Emmanuel Jaquez, 31, Perth Amboy

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2002 Honda was stopped on North Avenue East near the intersection of the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Jordan arrested the driver, Emmanuel Jaquez, for suspected heroin and marijuana located inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. Additionally, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road

Arrested: Kaushal Patel, 25, Edison

Arrested by: Ptl. Christopher Gross

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Hypodermic Syringes; Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2001 Mercedes was stopped at the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road for a head lamp out. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Gross arrested a passenger, Kaushal Patel, for suspected heroin and hypodermic syringes found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. Additionally, the driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps and a failure to wear a seatbelt.

North Avenue East and Springfield Avenue

Arrested: Gregory Risicato, 35, Weehawken

Arrested by: Ptl. Christopher Gross

Charges: Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Over 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2015 Toyota was stopped on North Avenue East near the intersection of Springfield Avenue for failure to observe a red traffic control device. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Gross arrested the driver, Gregory Risicato, for suspected marijuana located inside the vehicle. He processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. Additionally, motor vehicle summonses were issued to him for failure to observe a red traffic control device and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
