Arrested: Ricky Dobbs, 29, Newark

Arrested by:  Ptl. Gregory Federici

Charges:  Possession of Marijuana(under 50g); Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks:  A 2006 Chrysler was stopped at the intersection of Raritan Road @ Coleman Avenue for an equipment violation.  Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Federici located marijuana inside the vehicle.  The driver, Ricky Dobbs, was arrested, processed, and released pending a Municipal Court appearance.  Dobbs was also issued motor vehicle summonses for unclear plates and possessing a controlled dangerous substance inside a motor vehicle.

E. North Avenue @ GSP SB 137 Entrance Ramp

Arrested: Michael Martinho, 34, Elizabeth

Arrested by: Ptl. Ryan Gerrity

Charges:  Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance(Heroin); Possession of Paraphernalia

Remarks:  A 2003 Mercedes was stopped at the intersection of E. North Avenue @ the GSP Southbound Entrance Ramp for a seatbelt violation.  Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Gerrity located heroin inside the vehicle.  The driver, Michael Martinho, was arrested, processed, and released pending a Superior Court appearance.  Martinho was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to wear seatbelt and possessing a controlled dangerous substance inside a motor vehicle.
