Spots are still available for Westfield Area YMCA traditional day camps this summer.

All camps will meet the new guidelines set by the CDC, ACA (American Camp Association) and state and local government. These include social distancing regulations and small group size. All staff have been trained on COVID-19 safety, disinfecting and best practices for a safe classroom. All equipment, tools and toys are disinfected several times a day and/or after use by children. Counselors wear masks and there is a health screening procedure at drop-off.

Traditional camps offer a wide range of activities such as arts and crafts, sports, STEAM activities, social and emotional learning and time outside. Campers will play games they love and games they’ve never played before. Specialty days like Crazy Hair Day and Mismatch Day and weekly themes such as Aloha Summer and Pirate Week enhance the fun.  A fun academic skills refresher has also been incorporated into all camps this year.
