Agents of Change: Women in NJ History

In honor of Women’s History Month, The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to sponsor a lecture on New Jersey’s most influential women. Lecturer and photographer Jim DelGiudice will present “Agents of Change: Famous Women in New Jersey History" at the Cranford Community Center. Attendees will learn about the lives of philanthropists, performers, politicians and more, as well as the social context of their lives.

Jim DelGiudice has studied and documented New Jersey’s history for more than 25 years. A three-time winner of a share of New Jersey’s Historic Preservation Award, Mr. DelGiudice has provided lectures at Drew University, Columbia University and the County College of Morris. Several of his books of architectural photography have been published by Rutgers University Press. His Judgson Lecture Series focuses on topics of New Jersey history, photography, and general interest.

Admission to the program is free and all are welcome.

CRANFORD, NJ - Due to impressive performances as goalies for varsity lacrosse, Anna Horne and Phil Marotta are Cranford High School's Athletes of the Week.

Horne, a junior, has 408 career saves. Her current total for the season is 84 saves as she helped lead the Cougars to victory in games against Montville and Governor Livingston.
