Certified Bookkeeper

The American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) has established a professional certification, the Certified Bookkeeper (CB) credential, a high professional standard for bookkeepers. By successfully passing tests in six subjects, signing a written code of ethics, and demonstrating two years’ work experience as a bookkeeper, you can earn the right to put “CB” after your name. The experience requirement may be completed before or after the examinations. This course focuses on preparing you for the National Certified Bookkeeper examination by helping you master the skills and knowledge required for certification. All six workbooks plus exam fees included. Fee $1,250

Prerequisite: High School Diploma or equivalent. Some bookkeeping experience necessary.

Chlorine Drum Rupture Shuts Down Nomahegan Swim Club in Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ — A ruptured chlorine drum has forced closure of Nomahegan Swim Club on Springfield Avenue Friday afternoon.
