Free Kids Expo and Water Safety Event

This event will include active indoor fun including t-ball and basketball stations, an inflatable bounce house, arts & crafts activities and carnival games. Children will also be able to try a Kids Yoga demo class at 2:00 p.m. and Dance Academy demo classes — Little Movers for ages 3-5 at 2:30 p.m., or Jazz & Hip Hop for ages 6-13 at 3 p.m. 

Playa Bowl samples will be offered and adults and kids can visit the Camp Open House to learn more about the Y’s ACA-accredited Traditional, Sports, S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), Leadership and Travel camp offerings for campers ages 3-15 years. 

From 4-5 p.m., participate in the Free Safety Around Water Event. Learning to be safe around water is a life skill, and this program is designed to build confidence and competence. Water safety skills are included in the YMCA Swim Lesson curriculum.  Activities are in and out of pool — wear your bathing suit!

Spring Art Show Displays Students' Creativity

CRANFORD - The Cranford High School Spring Art Show was held at the Cranford Public Library, on Tuesday. 

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., artwork from classes such as crafts, graphic design, photography, and drawing was on display for the public to promote the creative and unique projects done by students throughout the school year.
