Cranford High School Fine and Performing Arts Departments to Present Three Events in January

CRANFORD, NJ – The Cranford High School Fine and Performing Arts Departments will present three performances and exhibits this month.

On Thursday, Jan. 11, the Fine Arts Department will showcase the work of art, crafts, graphics and photography students during its Winter Art Show in the Cranford High School library. On that same day, the Cranford High School Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble will present its winter concert in the CHS auditorium.

“Come in from the cold and enjoy the creative work of Cranford High School’s Fine and Performing Arts students,” Anthony Rafaniello, Supervisor and Director of Choral Activities, wrote in a press release.

The Cranford High School Academy of Performing Arts will present its Winter Showcase on Friday, Jan. 12.

“The students will perform scenes and monologues prepared in class, many of which will have been presented in the Speech and Theatre Association of New Jersey’s annual high school competition,” Rafaniello said.

The Winter Art Show will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the concert to follow at 7:30 p.m. The Winter Showcase will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford High School auditorium.
