CRANFORD - The Cranford Jaycees Fourth of July Firecracker Four-Miler and Fun Run will be going virtual for its 41st year.

According to the release, participants can run in the traditional one or four-mile categories, or new to this year, the "open run" category that allows you to choose your distance at anytime and anywhere you wish during the holiday weekend.

A live stream on TV35 and Facebook will commence at 8:15 a.m. with runner interviews, a live yoga warmup class, and the singing of our National Anthem. At 9:00 a.m., the traditional starting cannon will fire, officially kicking off the race.
