CRANFORD - So nice they named it twice - For the second year in a row, Cranford has been named the best downtown in NJ by NJ.com

According to the article, about 85,000 votes were cast for downtowns across the state and Cranford won the final round with 35 percent of the vote over the four other finalists: Morristown, Westfield, Pitman, and Mount Holly.

Proud residents, focus on the downtown, walkability, desirability, and marketability were key factors in Cranford's repeat victory.

"Cranford has great reason to celebrate," said Cranford Mayor Patrick Giblin. "Our residents take tremendous pride in our downtown. Most of our stores, restaurants and bars are family-owned and are partners in the success of our community."
