CRANFORD, NJ – River & Rail Cantina will host an event fundraiser for the Jam Kancer in the Kan Foundation, a foundation that benefits patients affected with cancer and their loved ones, this month. To celebrate the fundraiser, the restaurant will debut a special cocktail.

The cocktail, titled “The Jammerita,” will be a 13 oz. drink with Sauza Blue Tequila, agave, lime juice, Grand Mariner, homemade sangria and fruit. A portion of the proceeds of the drink sold through September 23 will be donated to the Jam Kancer in the Kan Foundation.

“We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, and having the support of a true grassroots organization like Jam Kancer In the Kan means a great deal to a family in its time of need,” John Roder, Co-Owner of River & Rail, said. “Jam Kancer In the Kan is an organization run solely by volunteers which allows all donations to go towards families fighting cancer. We are proud to host the foundation’s inaugural event in Cranford and invite the community to come support their efforts and truly make a difference for a family in crisis.”
