SPRINGFIELD, NJ - The Bark-A-Que dog adoption event was held Saturday at Meisel Park in Springfield. This event is run by Home for Good Dog Rescue of Berkeley Heights. Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator, Matthew Holowienka stated, “the new park was. wonderful, the location and event exceeded all of our expectations”. It had been previously located on the Green in Summit.

Holowienka said, “Meisel Park is so much bigger with many grassy areas and there was room for the volunteers and dog adopters to walk their dogs.”  He indicated the organization would seriously consider the same location next year.

This seven year old organization has successfully placed 5,501 dogs that were taken from kill shelters in southern states where neutering of animals is not as common. Recently, Home For Good Dog Rescue was rescuing dogs from Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

I'm Excited To See What Sara Todisco Will Do As Mayor.

May 25, 2018

We should give her a chance and if we weren't satisfied, we could ...
