CLARK, NJ - Kumpf Middle School student and cancer survivor Jillian Olear is raising money for her team "Jillian's Million Reasons " in Saturday's Valerie Fund Walk and 5K.

In March 2018, Jillian was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after going to the doctor for what she thought was something else entirely. "I am so lucky that my cancer was found early and that the amazing care I got at the Valerie Center enabled me to beat Hodgkin's," Olear said. "I feel like now it's my turn to give back to an organization that did so much for me and my family."

Jillian endured three rounds of chemo with a smile on her face throughout the whole process giving strength to her family and friends around her.  She was declared cancer free in July 2018.
