CRANFORD - The Cranford Knights of Columbus recently made a $5,000 donation to Soothing Paws Therapy Dogs, an organization that provides therapy dogs to Atlantic Health Systems Hospitals to comfort patients while in recovery.

The donation was raised from the Cranford Council's Annual Golf Outing that was held this past September. Attendees of the ceremonial check presentation were Soothing Paws Program Manager Peggy Grow, Yellow Lab Therapy Dog Andy, Council Golf Outing Chair and Past Grand Knight John Doolan, Council Treasurer Bob Margherito, Pet Therapy Volunteer Elizabeth Siccone, Portuguese Water Therapy Dog Cid, and Atlantic Health Nurse Researcher Mildred Kowalski PhD.
