Cranford’s VFW Post #335 has announced it will be holding a very special blood drive on Thursday, June 25th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue, in the gym. This drive has been rescheduled from the Post Home due to the spacing requirements now imposed by the COVID-19 State of Emergency.

VFW Chairperson Joseph DelGrippo stressed the need for Cranford residents to take part in this important township wide event. “The current pandemic situation has caused blood supplies to be at critically low levels," he said. "During the summer months when people are away, supplies always drop even more, so it is very important that all who are able, donate now at this event. We need a great turnout to fix the shortages and bring the blood supplies to a safe level. People are in need, please help.”

It is important to note that appointments are required. Please go to: https://tinyurl.com/CranfordVFW or call Genevieve Toscano 732-672-5281.  Remember to eat, drink, and bring your donor ID Card or regular photo ID with you.
