CRANFORD - On Monday, Cranford Mayor Patrick Giblin, the Health Department and Office of Emergency Management today received notice from the State Department of Health of eight new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Cranford.
These eight new positive cases bring Cranford’s total to 19 as of March 23. To protect the private medical information of these individuals, Cranford will not be releasing additional information about these cases. Residents are asked to respect the impacted residents' right to privacy based on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
There are 935 new cases in New Jersey, bringing the Statewide total to 2,844 Statewide. Union County numbers were not immediately available.
