Arrested: Reginald Durham, 24, New York City, New York

Arrested by: Ptl. Robert Chamra

Charges: Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 1999 Toyota was stopped on North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a brake lamp out. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Chamra arrested a passenger, Reginald Durham, for suspected marijuana found in his possession. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, the driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for an unregistered vehicle, unclear plates, maintenance of lamps, no valid insurance card and uninsured vehicle.

Eastman Street

Arrested: Michael Egidio, 32, Middletown

Arrested by: Ptl. Daniel Donnerstag

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to Eastman Street on an individual sleeping in a motor vehicle. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Donnerstag arrested the driver, Michael Egidio, for suspected heroin found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for suspended driver, obstructed view and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Centennial Avenue and Buchanan Street

Arrested: Joel Colon, Linden, 34; Vicky Ventura, 25, Elizabeth

Arrested by: Ptl. James Knight

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2000 Honda was stopped on Centennial Avenue and Buchanan Street for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Knight arrested the driver and a passenger of the vehicle, Vicky Ventura and Joel Colon respectively, for suspected THC edibles and marijuana found inside the vehicle. They were both processed and provided with Superior Court appearance dates. In addition, the driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for no valid insurance card in possession, a seatbelt violation, maintenance of lamps and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

300 Block of North Avenue East

Arrested: Matthew Casarola, 26, Marlboro

Arrested by: Ptl. Matthew Siessel

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to a three-car motor vehicle crash on the 300 block of North Avenue East. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Siessel arrested one of the drivers, Matthew Casarola, for driving while intoxicated and suspected heroin found in his possession. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, reckless driving, obstructing traffic, tailgating and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

1100 Block of Raritan Road

Investigating Officer: Det. Michael Dubitsky

Charges: Sale of Tobacco & E-Cigarette Products to Minors

Remarks: Police received a report alleging a business on the 1100 Block of Raritan Road was selling ECigarette products to minors. After an investigation, Det. Michael Dubitsky charged the business with selling an E-Cigarette product to a minor. The business was served with the summons and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

Raritan Road and Coleman Avenue

Arrested: Ahmed Golson, 21, Hillside

Arrested by: Ptl. Timothy Handy

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2010 Honda was stopped on Raritan Road and Coleman Avenue for tinted windows. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Handy arrested the driver, Ahmed Golson, for suspected THC vape cartridges found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for tinted windows, unclear plates and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
