UPDATED: Mr. Carlos Silva has been found and is home safe.

CRANFORD - The Cranford Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 59-year-old male who suffers from mental illness.

According to the release, the missing male, Carlos Silva of Cranford, was last seen on Thursday, June 4 around 5 p.m. walking on Dietz Street in Cranford. At that time, Silva was wearing a creme-colored short-sleeve shirt with stripes, blue jeans and black sneakers. In addition, he was wearing a black bandana as a face mask.

Silva is a Hispanic male, standing 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 200lbs. He is balding and has brown eyes. Anyone with information related to this missing person case should contact Det/Lt.
