All Cranford residents that were on the contact list have been called and followed up with and informed to self-quarantine. The Health Departments where the other individuals live have been notified for their follow-up.
In addition, there may be an additional pending case. Details will be available tomorrow as officials have limited information at this moment. It's expected that there will be some additional cases over the next several days and weeks.
Following the standard protocols that have been published and discussed with social distancing, covering coughs and washing hands and individuals self-quarantining will help to reduce the rapid spread of this virus. With each community and county within the State conforming to proper public health practices, the curve for this disease should be kept at the lowest possible point.
This is a developing story. TAPinto Cranford will provide updates as more information becomes available.
