CRANFORD, NJ – Hartz Mountain Industries’ application for the rezoning of 750 Walnut Avenue will be adjourned at Wednesday night’s planning board meeting.
According to Jay Rhatican, director of Land Use and Development for Hartz Mountain Industries, the application will be adjourned until Feb. 21.
Commissioner Ann Dooley also confirmed the adjournment, but said a new date cannot be established until the 2018 agenda is approved.
The application has been adjourned previously in front of the planning board and the Cranford Township Committee, to which it submitted an application for redevelopment.
The company seeks to build 900 apartment units at 750 Walnut Avenue, which is currently a commercial zone.
