St. Michael Church to Present 2017 Advent & Christmas Concert

CRANFORD, NJ –St. Michael Church will host an evening of music and holiday spirit during its 2017 concert, “Advent and Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols.”

The concert will feature adult, youth and hand bell choirs, along with vocal soloists and the Atlas Brass Quintet, according to Dr. David Bower, director of music and organist at the church.

“We are fortunate to have this highly professional quintet, especially at this season when they are in great demand,” Bower said. “Please join us in singing the joyous music of the Advent and Christmas season.”

In addition to the music, Monsignor Timothy Shugrue and Parochial Vicars Rev. Wilson Paculan, Rev. Thomas Quinn, and Deacon Rev. Mr. Sebastian Obando will lead the Advent biblical readings.

The concert will take place on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. at St. Michael Church. It is free to attend, but a free-will offering will be accepted to support the music program.
