CRANFORD - Cranford High School head softball coach Christine Pemoulie is hosting a four-day summer training camp for athletes looking to improve their skills set.
The camp will be held on Monday, July 29 through Thursday, August 1 (rain date: Friday, August 2) at Adams Avenue Field with two-a-day sessions. The first session will go from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for all campers. Following a 30-minute break (12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.), a pitchers and catchers session will run from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Girls entering first through ninth grade are eligible to sign up. For the first session, the cost is $175. Add the pitching and catching session for an additonal $100.
Players must bring a softball glove, a bat (if you have one), cleats (recommended), sunblock, and water. There will also be water available at the camp.
To sign up, make checks payable to "Pemoulie Sports LLC" and mail along with the registration form to Pemoulie Sports LLC, 614 Goodsman Crossing, Clark, NJ, 07066. You may sign up the day of camp, but to guarentee yourself a shirt, registration form and check are due by July 15.
