"This group of seniors set the tone for what it means to play Cranford hockey," said Cranford head coach Michael Ozolnieks. "They understand it takes the commitment from the collective to overcome adversity and reach a common goal. That mindset will be a foundation for the younger players as we continue to grow this program. I hope they will be able to finish this season on a high note and continue to return in future seasons to see the results of their hard work and dedication to this team."

Four of five goals were scored by seniors. Massoni, Kirkikis, Pachkowski, and Schenider each had one, along with junior Jack DeSimone. Templeton and Matteo Wilde each had two assists and Patrick Tuohy added one.

The Cougars (8-5-2) will return to the ice on Thursday at 4:45 p.m. against Northern Highlands (6-7-2) at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rink.
