CRANFORD - Accompanied by family, friends, and her coaches, Grace Power signed her national letter of intent to play lacrosse at Siena College.
Siena College is a private Franciscan liberal arts college in Loudonville, New York. The college was named after Bernardino of Siena, a 15th-century Italian Franciscan friar and preacher. Power mentioned that she when she visited, she enjoyed the small campus feel and felt the team was very welcoming.
"When I went to visit, I hung out with the team and really got a feel of the campus," said Power. "Everyone on the team was super nice and I feel like I'm already friends with a lot of them. I also love the coaching staff as well."
Power has been a force for Cranford the past three years, recording 172 goals. Her freshman year she tallied 43 goals, followed by 53 in her sophomore year, and 76 last season. She will look to score her 200th goal this season and try to break the all-time school record.
