CRANFORD - Cranford senior Maggie Murray has been named the Union County Conference Girls Soccer Player of the Week by NJ.com.

Murray has scored in seven of Cranford's nine games this season and has a total of 10 goals and six assists. The article wrote:

Cranford is having a great season and is in the driver’s seat right now in Union County. Murray has been a terror the last few years and she’s a big reason why Cranford is creeping closer to winning a county championship.

This week, Cranford (8-1), cracked the top 10 (No. 10) of the NJ.com Top 20 Ranking and also received the No. 1 seed of the Union County Tournament. The Cougars will look to bring home the county title after falling 2-0 to Scotch Plains-Fanwood in the finals last year.
