WOODBRIDGE, NJ -- State police are investigating the death of a Scotch Plains man who fell from an overpass onto a Nissan headed south on the Garden State Parkway during the evening rush hour on Thursday, April 1. 

According to RLS Media, Joshua Goldberg, 21, sustained fatal injuries near milepost 132 in Woodbridge Township at approximately 5:26 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the SUV, a 45-year-old woman from Parlin, NJ, was treated for minor injuries, according to the RLS report.

The incident closed the Garden State Parkway for nearly two hours.
