DENVILLE, NJ – The Academies of the Morris County Vocational School District is accepting applications through Dec 9 from eighth-grade students eligible to attend a Morris County high school.
The Morris County Vocational School District combines comprehensive academics with career and technical education (academy) classes. Its students benefit from studying a specific career area of interest, build valuable career-readiness skills in preparation for college and careers, gain real-world experience and participate in career and technical education student competitions. Students also may earn college credits while in high school. Academies include: Animal Science; Biotechnology; Computer and Information Sciences; Culinary Arts; Design; Education and Learning; Environmental Science; Finance and International Business; Global Supply Chain Management; Health Care Sciences; Law and Public Safety; Math, Science and Engineering; Multimedia; Performing Arts (Dance, Theater or Vocal) and Sports Medicine.
