DENVILLE, NJ -- Hostess Snoballs have been recalled due to an undeclared allergen, announced Hostess Brands, LLC. According to the company, certain Hostess SnoBalls were "inadvertently manufactured in the packaging for Hostess Chocolate CupCakes, and the packaging does not list coconut, an ingredient as an allergen.

The recall included SnoBalls manufactured on March 12, 2021 with a UPC of 888109010096, Bath 1031221000 and Best By Date of May 27, 2021.

The products were sold to convenience stores, dollar stores and distributors throughout the United States.

No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date, stated the company. However, consumers who have purchased the affected product are urged to return the product for a full refund.
