Arconic is pleased to announce the expansion of their career exploration program in the engineering and STEM fields through the Exploring program. An information session will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 4:00 pm located at the Arconic-Dover Plant (9 Roy St, Dover, NJ 07801). Participants should meet at the visitor’s center. Those interested are encouraged to register for the open house by May 19, 2017 at: http://tinyurl.com/mw7ef7u.
“The program has exposed me to so many different STEM professions and it allowed me to further explore my interests,” says Bailey Speight, a 12th grade student at Randolph High School. “My favorite activity was programing and building the Sumobot!”
Arconic serves as the sponsor to the Engineering and Technology Exploring Post where participants will learn about innovative aerospace, airplane structures, and more from a global leader in lightweight metals technology, engineering and manufacturing. This is a great way for students to expand their knowledge, gain experience, build an internship, and more!
Space is limited to the first 35 students and all fees will be covered by Arconic. Students are encouraged to respond via R.S.V.P. prior to May 19th.
